Changeist LLC ("we," "us") operates this event registration page and collects personal information in connection with our workshop programs. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect
When you register for a workshop or join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and — if purchasing a ticket — payment information processed through Stripe. We may also collect your organization name and any information you voluntarily provide through checkout form fields.
How we use your information
We use your information to process registrations, send event confirmations and logistics, deliver pre-workshop materials, provide post-workshop support, and communicate about the specific event you registered for. If you joined our waitlist, we use your email solely to notify you when registration opens.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate our events:
- Ticket Tailor for registration and ticketing (Ticket Tailor Privacy Policy)
- Stripe for payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Zoom for workshop delivery (Zoom Privacy Policy)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain registration data for the duration necessary to deliver the workshop and provide post-event support (typically 90 days after the event). Payment records are retained as required for accounting and tax compliance.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at events@changeist.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.
International users
If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where Changeist LLC is based. By registering for our events, you consent to this transfer. We process data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) for Singapore-based participants. For participants in the European Economic Area, we process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Regardless of your location, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting events@changeist.com.
